Serendipity, In Wool.
Having been a little down lately, I've been thinking that I need to get out of the house and do something creative. I've been looking at evening classes, but they're all so expensive. I really want to take Cello lessons, but that would also cost a fortune, considering I'd have to buy a Cello ;) I've also been trying to fight my way through knitting patterns. Do you know the part in "Breakfast at Tiffany's" when Holly says "I have this strange feeling that maybe the blueprints and my knitting instructions got switched. I mean it isn't impossible that I'm knitting a ranch house!" ...That's pretty much it. Knitting patterns give me worse tunnel vision than math.
So I thought "what the hell" and looked up "Knitting Classes Calgary" online! The first link I opened was for a knitting class that starts this weekend, to knit a baby sweater, and it's mere blocks from my condo!!! As if that wasn't serendipitous! So Skylark? Pick a colour, honey! Your little cookie monster will be the first to get either a sweater or a ranch house ;)

Awww.... SO sweet! Thank you! :)
How about something bright; I'm so sick of seeing pastel baby clothes in the stores around here. Bright green? Deep Purple? Oooh, maybe RED! Have a look and see what pretty yarn you can find.
Thankyouthankyouthankyou!! :)
I'll see what I can do! It's organic cotton yarn, so it should feel soft. Hopefully it doesn't look completely vile ;) I'll post pics of the progress though. Heehee!
